Overview

How about a helping of Basel culture before your Sunday brunch? Take a walk with us from the picturesque cathedral square through the historical alleys of the old town to the St. Alban district, which is steeped in legend. This lovingly restored area is criss-crossed with small canals, and has been rightfully nicknamed "Little Venice" by the residents of Basel. Here you will find both history and the modern day, with old half-timbered houses and contemporary architecture. You will then cross the Rhine on the St. Alban "Wild Maa" ferry and stroll along the river banks of Kleinbasel to the nearby Museum Tinguely. A delicious brunch awaits you at the Restaurant "Chez Jeannot", which overlooks the Rhine. The brunch contains Bread, plaited loaf, croissants, housemade jams, butter, fruit, cold meat, cheese, housemade Birchermuesli, an organic egg dish, a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and a hot beverage.
