Kunstmuseum Luzern
Overview
Intro
The Kunstmuseum Luzern is located on the top floor of the Culture and Convention Center Lucerne (KKL), and was designed by Parisian architect Jean Nouvel as well.
Covering an area of 2'100 square meters, the museum has changing exhibitions displaying significant works of modern art, as well as exhibitions from the museum's own collection, with an emphasis on 19th and 20th century landscape painting and international art from 1960. The architectural simplicity of the museum and the sophisticated use of light make every visit a genuine cultural experience.
