Description
Ambience:
The interior of the 30-year-old building has recently undergone full refurbishment. Information panels at the window frames, which do not rotate, provide details on the respective views. There is a coffee bar with snacks, a choice of hot and cold drinks and lounge music for those guests who are in a rush. New: the Mittelallalin ice pavilion has recently opened its doors to let visitors into the secret world of the glaciers and to display various ice sculptures.
Location:
On the Mittelallalin at an altitude of 3,500 m with far-reaching views across the Saas Mischabel range, including the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau up to Milano and the Italian Po Valley.
Cuisine:
The revolving restaurant offers well-prepared Swiss cuisine and international classics for everyone’s taste to enjoy: cheese and dried meat platters, barley soup, chicken curry with rice, Alpine macaroni with apple puree, burger, Wiener Schnitzel with chips, fruit tarts. Simpler dishes can be found in the self-service section.
