The new 4-star city hotel at the center of Basel opened its doors to guests in January 2016. The 65 rooms are individually furnished in a modern and urban style, various categories from Small Design Room to Design Penthouse Suite with all comforts. The lively restaurant “Eatery” focuses on cuisine from around the world, with tasty delights around the clock. Seminar and banquet rooms, gym with sauna, parking. Free bikes and BaselCard for public transport.

Description

"Nomad Hotel Bar Eatery" is urban, cosmopolitan and down-to-earth at the same time. This can be seen, among other things, in the furnishings, where warm kilim carpets harmonise with cool exposed concrete. And for the guests: both business and leisure guests feel at home here. These contrasts all have one thing in common: they stand for a new 4-star hotel experience in Basel. With 65 rooms, sauna, fitness facilities, restaurant and bar for encounters in a casual atmosphere just a few minutes walk from the historic old town.

Boutique & Design Hotel

The former apartment house from the 1950s was completely rebuilt and opened in January 2016. It impresses with its modern architecture in harmony with easy-living atmosphere: Cool concrete blends with warm oak and striking lines with colourful Kilim carpets. The best of aesthetics and handcrafts: exclusive linen sheets, the staff wears Swiss design. World food is served at the fashionable “Eatery”, live bands perform on weekends. Very close to the Swiss Architecture Museum.

Meetings

Stubbornness is fun - that is the credo of the Krafft Group. The name not only stands for Basel tradition, but also for a wide variety of hotels and stories. The Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel pulsates between the tall façades of the Bankverein. Not only the eatery and bar are inviting culinary oases, but also the two meeting rooms as creative workspaces. The Nomad Business Room and the Library Club are spaces for big plans, creative workshops or informal discussions. They can comfortably accommodate between 10 and 15 people. While one room features modern exposed concrete, the other invites work to flow thanks to its warm wooden walls. And because, as we all know, work is followed by pleasure, it's straight on to the Nomad Eatery afterwards - for aperitifs, of course.
